Set in pristine bushland, overlooking Lake Yarrunga,\nexpect some technical navigation, plenty of wildlife and awesome single track (and some hills - Ed.). \n\n\n\n \nKangaroo Valley local, Jim Anderson, is setting the course\nand invites participants to make a weekend of it with SS6 at Nowra the following day. Other bike play options in\nthe Valley include easy family rides, steep downhill and sweet single track\n(hint, buy Jim a beer and he may divulge the whereabouts of the secret “Red\nShed Tracks”).\n\n\n\n \nThere are lots of accommodation options in Kangaroo Valley,\ncaravan parks, motels, pub etc, plus great free lakeside camping with\nfacilities at Bendeela, just a few km down the road from Glengarry.\n\nDirections: \n\nGoogle Maps\n\n\n\nFrom Sydney, travel southwest down the Hume\nHighway. Turn left onto Illawarra Highway and travel through Moss Vale. Turn\nright onto Nowra Road and follow signs into Kangaroo Valley.&nbsp;Just after\npassing through Barrengarry and 300m before Hamden Bridge, turn right onto\nJacks Corner Road, follow for approximately 7km (Turn off for Bendeela Camp Ground\nin on left after approximately 4km). Turn left at the marked driveway down to\n“Glengarry”. The 1km of road down to Glengarry is steep in places (OK for 2WD)\nwith some sharp bends, please drive slowly down here. Follow MTBO signs to\nparking.\n\n\n\nAs alternative routes from Sydney is to go Via\nWollongong on the Princes Highway to Berry.&nbsp;\nTurn right onto Kangaroo Valley Road and travel over the mountain\nthrough Kangaroo Valley and over Hampden Bridge, 300m turn left at Jacks Corner\nRoad and follow directions as detailed above.\n\n\n\nFrom Canberra, drive northeast on Hume\nHighway.&nbsp;Turn right onto Illawarra Highway and travel through Moss\nVale.&nbsp; Turn right onto Nowra Road, and follow signs into Kangaroo Valley and\nto Glengarry (as described above).&nbsp;\n\n&nbsp;\n\nFacilities:\n\n There are toilets and water avaliable on site. Nearest shop is Barrengarry Store.\n\nAccommodation:\n\nThere are lots of accommodation options in Kangaroo Valley, caravan parks, motels, pubs etc, plus great free lakeside camping with facilities (no showers) at Bendeela.
