DESCRIPTION:\nNewcastle BOSS - Event 1\n\nMap: O’Donelltown \nDate: 30th October 2011\nCourse Setter: Denis \nLyons \nStart Times: 8:00am – 9:00am \nDirections: \nFromWestWallsend proceed west along Carrington Street and then Railway \nStreet. Turn right into O’Donelltown Road and follow signs.\n\n\n\n\nEvent Description \n\nStart times must be between 8am and 9am\n(unless arranged otherwise with the organizer)\nThe courses will be 75 minute score courses\nCompetitors will receive their map 3 minutes before their start time\nControls will be worth either 1, 2 or 3 points as indicated by the first digit in the control code (eg Control 3A would be worth 3 points).\n\n\nLate Penalties\nMinus 1 point for every minute or part thereof late, down to a score of 0.\nEarly Bonuses\nIf all controls have been visited then plus 1 point for every full minute early\n\n\nThe series will consist of 6 events. A competitor’s best four results from these events will be tallied to produce an overall series total.
