DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Victorian Sprint Distance MTBO Championships is also race 1 of the 2012 Australian\n MTBO Series and a selection race for the Australian MTBO \nteam for the 2012 World MTBO Championships in Hungary in August.  \n\nSprint Start List \n\n\nFinal Information for Saturday’s Sprint and Middle Events\n1. Saturday am: \n Be sure to arrive at Maryborough between 8.30 and 9.00 am as Sprint \nstart times commence promptly at 10 am at the velodrome. Toilets will be\n open at the Jack Pascoe Reserve and at the Velodrome. The ride from the\n Jack Pascoe Reserve (old YMCA) along Inkerman, Napier, Brougham and \nHigh Street of just over 2 km will take 15 minutes. Maps to reach the \nstart are available at Jack Pascoe Reserve. Follow the pink tapes. \nPlease wear high visibility clothing – bright yellow or orange vests are\n great as you will be riding thru the town of Maryborough.\n2. Saturday pm:\n Maps to the start following the bike path south along Majorca Road, \nright at Nelson Street, left at Blackmans Street, right at Trafalgar \nStreet are available at the Jack Pascoe Reserve. Allow 15 minutes and \nfollow the blue tapes – start times from 1.00 pm. Toilets at Jack Pascoe\n Reserve but not at the start.\n3. Lunch: the \nRecreation Centre (old YMCA) is open from 9 to 12 noon with coffee and \ntea and light snacks. We encourage you to visit the historic town of \nMaryborough for a coffee between events for something more substantial.\n4. Dinner:\n the Maryborough Golf Club – north of the city centre on C277 – is \nhosting the dinner from 7.00 pm (not 6 pm as previously listed). Track network complex in some\nareas with generally fast riding on a mixture of single, forest and\nurban fringe tracks.\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\nDirections: From Castlemaine CBD\n follow the Midland Highway south for 1.5km, then turn west towards \nNewstead and Maryborough on the A180.  In the town centre of Maryborough\n turn left into Inkerman St (Majorca Rd) and continue south over the \nrailway to Gillies St Roundabout.  Turn left and then right into the \nYMCA Carpark.  This is the event centre for both events on Saturday.\nFrom Melbourne/Ballarat,\n exit Ballarat Bypass towards Miners Rest, Clunes and Maryborough.  \nAfter Clunes turn right at Dunarch onto Majorca Rd and continue into \nMaryborough.  Turn right at Gillies St roundabout and right again into \nYMCA Carpark.\n\nThere will be a 10 minute ride from the assembly area to the Sprint map area. \n\nStart\nTimes: Start times from 10.00am.
