DESCRIPTION:\nRound 2 of the\n2012 NSW Cranks Bikes MTBO SuperSeries.\n\nEnter Online Here\n\n\nMap: Currambene State Forest (approx 9km south of Nowra)\n\n\n\n\nFormat:  Long\nDistance line course\n\nStart Times: 10:00 - 11:30am \n\n\nWe return to the South West\ncorner of the popular Currambene Forest, for Round 2 of the Super Series.\nExpect some fast forest tracks (if dry!), lovely single track and not too many\nsteep hills.    \n\n\n\nApproximate\nCourse Lengths - \n\n\n\nCourse 1- 34km\nCourse 2 - 30km\nCourse 3 - 25km\nCourse 4 - 17km\nCourse 5 - 13km\n\n\nNote: For those wishing a little exercise prior to\nthe MTBO, the local South Coast Mountain Bike Club are running a 3 person relay\nrace at the nearby Butterfly Road tracks in the same forest. Check out their\nwebsite for further details: www.scum.asn.au \n\nDirections:\n\nGoogle Map\n\n\nFrom Sydney - Drive south on F2. Continue past\nWollongong to Nowra.  Travel through Nowra.  Approximately 9km after\ncrossing the Shoalhaven River, turn left at Forest Road.  Continue along\nForest Road (follow MTBO signs) for approx 500m until a right turn into\nCurrambene Forest on track going under power lines. Parking and Registration\nwill be immediately in front of you.   \n\n\nFrom Canberra - Drive northeast on Hume\nHighway. Turn right onto Illawarra Highway and travel through Moss\nVale.  Turn right onto Nowra Road, and travel through Kangaroo Valley. \nTurn right onto Pacific Highway and travel through Nowra.  Approximately\n9km after crossing the Shoalhaven River, turn left at Forest Road. \nContinue along Forest Road (follow MTBO signs).for approx 500m until a right\nturn into Currambene Forest on track going under power lines. Parking and Registration will be immediately in front of you.   \n\n\nFacilities:\n\n\nThere will a ‘bush’ toilet provided at the parking\narea but no water provided or of suitable drinking quality on the course.\nPlease ensure you have adequate food and water for the duration of the event. \n\n\n\n\nAccommodation:\n\n\nRefer to the\nGlengarry Event details. The recommended group camp site is at Bendeela in\nKangaroo Valley.
