AJ takes Silver in World Middle Distance Champs

Tuesday, 13 July 2010

AJ has just won the silver medal in the Mens Middle Distance event at the 2010 World MTBO Championships, finishing 40 seconds behind the young Finnish rider, Samuli Saarela.

Some great rides from the rest of the Aussies - their times, including splits at radio controls, are given below (taken from preliminary results).

Unfortunately, the JWOC courses have been cancelled due to a poorly placed control.  Chris Firman finished just outside the top 20, with Luke Poland 30th and Marc Gluskie 36th out of a field of 56 riders.
