From Sydney, turn left off the Hume Hwy into Murrimba Rd (just south of Paddys River) and proceed to Wingello village (about 6km).
From Canberra, turn right off the Hume Hwy into Murrimba Rd and proceed to Wingello village (about 6km).
In Wingello, cross the railway line and turn right towards Tallong. Take the first left into Forest Rd, and follow this road about 3.5km into Forest Camp.
Facilities and Camping:
Bush camping only at Forest Camp. Toilet facilities. BYO water.
Entries:
Online entry form. Entries close Sunday 20 September 2009. Payments by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) at the time of registration at Register Now. No enter-on-day available.
Entry fees:
Both events: Seniors (21 and over) - $40.00 Juniors (16-20) - $20.00 Children (under 16) – not permitted to compete in night event
Sunday SS9 event only: Seniors (21 and over) - $25.00 Juniors (16-20) - $10.00 Children (under 16) - $5.00
Note:
In entering a mountain bike orienteering event, you should recognise that the sport of mountain bike orienteering has certain inherent risks due to its conduct in the natural environment. Included in these risks are injury due to rough terrain and obstacles and the effects of heat, cold and exhaustion. You should also be aware that there is no personal accident insurance on your participation in the sport and that you participate at your own risk.

If you are still on the course at 9.00pm please immediately return to the start/finish and report to the organiser.
Format:
Night event. Line course. You can choose to ride as a pair, but must enter as individuals.
Courses:
Long: 15 km Short: 7 km
Sportident:
Traditional punch controls will be used for this event instead of Sportident. No SI sticks required on Saturday night.
Lights:
You will need lights. The stronger the better. You could do this event with a strong head torch only, but it will be much easier with a good headlight as well. We are hoping to arrange for some hire lights to be available on the night.

MDN have a limited number of loan map boards for those that are new to the sport.
