Long distance event; mass start with map change; first map will have free choice controls; second map will be a line course.

To score points for the 2010 NSW MTBO SuperSeries, you may ride your chosen course (see SuperSeries rules for 2011).
Start times:
Registration closes 10.00am.
Mass start at 10.30am - allow 20 minutes to ride to start from Event centre at Wingello Forest Camp.
Course closes:
The course will close at 2.00pm. Please ensure you return to registration and the finish by that time.

From Sydney, drive southwest on Hume Highway. Turn left onto Murrimba Road (approx. 10km after Shell service station at Sallys Corner Road) and travel approx. 6-7km to Wingello Village. Cross railway line and turn right past Wingello Village Store (last coffee available here!). Turn left onto Caoura Street (Forest Rd) just before the Wingello Village Store and level crossing. Follow Caoura Street / Forest Road into Wingello State Forest and veer left into Wingello Forest Camp. Please park in the area on the left beneath the old pine trees.
From Canberra, drive northeast on Hume Highway. Turn right onto Highland Way (approx. 500m after RTA inspection station at Marulan) and travel through Tallong to Wingello. Turn right onto Caoura Street (Forest Rd) just before the Wingello Village Store and level crossing. Follow Caoura Street / Forest Road into Wingello State Forest and veer left into Wingello Forest Camp. Please park in the area on the left beneath the old pine trees.
Alternative route coming from Canberra: continue along Hume Highway and turn right onto Murrimba Road to travel via Wingello.

Mountain Devils AGM:
Mountain Devils MTBO Club will hold their 2011 AGM at Wingello Forest Camp on the Saturday evening prior to this event. Likely starting time will be 5.30pm on Sat 26 March. The club will provide cold soft drinks and beer for those attending the AGM.
If you're planning to camp at Wingello Forest Camp overnight on Saturday, this will be easy. If you're planning to stay elsewhere in the Southern Highlands, we encourage you to join us for the AGM.

This mountain bike orienteering event is organised by Mountain Devils MTBO Club on behalf of the Orienteering Association of NSW Inc.

In entering this orienteering event you should recognise that the sport of orienteering is a recreational activity that may involve significant risk of physical harm and has certain inherent and obvious risks due to its conduct in both urban and rural environments.
